ONEOK Safari Train and ARVEST Wildlife Carousel

Hours are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily, weather permitting
          Train and carousel will run in temperatures between 50 and 100 degrees.
          Train and carousel will close immediately in case of lightning.

 $1.50 per ticket for non-members
 $1 per ticket for Zoo Friends members

Tickets can be purchased at Admissions, Crane Depot or Sea Lion Station. Tickets can be used for both the ONEOK Safari Train and the Arvest Wildlife Carousel.

Train One-Way = 1 ticket
Travel between Crane Depot and Sea Lion Station.

Train Round Trip = 2 tickets
One full lap around the zoo. At times, to accommodate crowds, we offer only one-way train rides. Make it a round trip by exiting the train and getting back in line at the next station. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Carousel = 1 ticket

Children ages 2 and under ride the train for free, but all carousel riders require a ticket.  


Camel Tours

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, weather permitting
Want a new way to view the Zoo? How about taking a tour atop a Dromedary Camel?  Climb on up and experience a trip around our camel path, located near the Chimpanzee Connection. Camel tours will run March 12 through Oct. 31, hours based on weather and attendance.

$5 for non-members
$4 for members
$5 for a souvenir photo
Camel tickets can be purchased at Admissions or at the Camel Tour station.


Giraffe Feedings

11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday - Sunday, weather and cooperative giraffe dependent
Get eye to eye with our tallest residents, and feed them their favorite snacks! Branches can be purchased at the giraffe exhibit during the one-hour feeding window. 

$5 for non-members
$4 for members
This is first come first served, and we cannot reserve spots.  Our giraffe are still getting used to this new activity and sometimes get distracted.  We appreciate your understanding and patience.


Zooper Passes

One-day wristband for unlimited train and carousel rides.
$4 per person for members
$5.50 per person for non-members


The Hardesty Gem Dig at the COX Nature Exchange

10 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily, weather permitting
Dig for buried treasure and keep what you find!  We have all kinds of gems, rocks and minerals to discover beneath the sand. You never know what you might find.

Price for Gem Dig with 2 oz bag for buried treasure

NEW! The Sluice

Grab a bag of mining rough and swish it through our sluice to uncover fossils and gems! What's in your pan is yours to keep!

Children’s Zoo

Open seasonally, weather permitting. This is a fun opportunity for kids to get up close and personal with goats, sheep and pigs. Petting is encouraged. We even supply the hand sanitizer.


Feedings and Demonstrations

Our feeding and demonstration schedule changes monthly. Enhance your experience by hearing from the zoo keepers, who can teach you more about our zoo's animals.
