The Tulsa Zoo is operated by Tulsa Zoo Management, Inc., an Oklahoma not-for profit. The zoo is located on 84 acres within Mohawk Park, which is the third largest municipal park in the United States. Currently, more than 2,800 animals are on exhibit, many of them rare and endangered. The Tulsa Zoo is accredited by the American Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
Tulsa Zoo Management, Inc. supports the zoo by providing Admissions, Attractions, Food and Beverage, Marketing and Fundraising services.
Nearly 600,000 visitors tour the zoo each year and the zoo has approximately 12,000 Zoo Friends Member households.
