WHAT IS HALLOWZOOEEN?
HallowZOOeen, held annually October 27 – 31 is a premier spooky (but not-too scary) trick-or-treat event for the whole family! The zoo offers an alternative to traditional Halloween activities and gives more than 15,000 children each year a safe place to enjoy the holiday! Activities include Goblin Stops full of treats, carnival-style games in the CommunityCare Pumpkin Patch Playroom, special themed activities in both the Burger King Royal Castle and the American Airlines Pirate Island, a Haunted Train Ride, and much more!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
General tickets for this event are $8 for non-members and $7 for members. Haunted Train tickets are $4 and the Cross-Eyed Carousel is $1, both optional. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Tulsa Zoo from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
ARE KIDS UNDER 2 FREE?
No. Kids 1-year-old and above all pay the standard admission price. Proceeds from this event will be used to build a better zoo!
DO ADULTS HAVE TO PAY?
Yes. All attendees EXCEPT children under 1-year-old pay the admission price for HallowZOOeen. Proceeds from this event will be used to build a better zoo!
DO I HAVE TO WEAR A COSTUME?
Costumes are optional, but definitely more fun!
ARE THE TRAIN AND CAROUSEL FREE FOR DONORS?
No. This is a separate event from your donor membership. Tickets for the Haunted Train Ride are $4 each and the Cross Eyed Carousel is $1 per ride.
HOW CAN I BECOME A SPONSOR?
Goblin Stop sponsorships range from $2,000 to $3,000. As a courtesy, the zoo will stock and store your candy for each night! It’s so easy to be a sponsor…it’s frightening!
This event will be supported by local media coverage, advertising and on-site signage. Exposure will include the Tulsa area media market, 13,000 member households of Tulsa Zoo Friends, over 15,000 event attendees and up to 10,000 regular admission zoo guests the two weeks prior to the event.
