What is a WildBunch volunteer?
The WildBunch is a dedicated group of service volunteers with many different talents and interests. WildBunch volunteers give their time to assist the Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum in a wide variety of areas. Currently we have some specialized positions including Commissary Aides, Volunteer Keeper Aides, Nature Exchange Volunteers, Event Volunteers and more.

What can a WildBunch volunteer do?

• Assist with many Tulsa Zoo Friends’ special events, including ZooFari, WALTZ on the Wild Side, Animal Enrichment Day, HallowZOOeen and Members’ Appreciation Night
• Greet and assist Tulsa Zoo guests - Safari Guides!
• Assist with school group entry (Yellow-Bus Fever!)
• Perform office/administrative tasks when needed
• Write/edit articles for the ZooBites volunteer newsletter
• Have fun while volunteering time and energy to a great organization

What are the benefits of being a WildBunch volunteer?
The benefits are many and the rewards are great! As a WildBunch volunteer, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a WILDLY fun organization that appreciates and respects its volunteers.

What are the requirements to be part of the WildBunch?

• Must be 18 years or older
• Able to volunteer 36 hours per year
• Like to socialize and work with others
• Be a Tulsa Zoo Friends member – ($45 membership entitles you and a guest to FREE, unlimited zoo admission for one year. If you want to include your entire family, a $60 membership entitles you and your entire family to FREE zoo admission for one year.)

How do I join the WildBunch?

• Complete the volunteer application.
• Meet with the Tulsa Zoo Volunteer Manager for an informational interview
• Complete the Online Volunteer Manual Test
• Complete a background check
• Demonstrate proof of a negative TB test
