Spring Fling will be held Friday, March 12, 2010.

WALTZ on the Wild Side
Now in its 20th year, WALTZ on the Wild Side is the Tulsa Zoo’s premier event.  Nearly two decades strong and better than ever, WALTZ is responsible for building most of the major projects at the zoo.  From the Chimpanzee Connection, Elephant Encounter, Shark Tank, Children’s Zoo and more, WALTZ supporters have helped this zoo continue to grow year after year!  This year’s event is on June 18th, 2010 from 7 to midnight.

Pirates & PrincessesWhether you’re a princess looking for your frog or a pirate searching for zoo treasure, this event is perfectly wild for kids of all ages!  At this brand new event, families will get the chance to meet REAL pirates and princesses and participate in “zoo-nique” activities all over the park!

ZooRun
Now in its 41st year, ZooRun has become a signature event of the zoo and as the second oldest race in the city, it has become a Tulsa tradition.  This event has grown in size and prestige over the years and has clearly become a staple for serious runners, students and families alike.  With a 5k, 10k and family fun run, there is a pace for everyone!  This year’s race will take place on October 2, 2010.

HallowZOOeen
HallowZOOeen, held annually October 27 – 31, is a premier spooky (but not-too scary) trick-or-treat event for the whole family! The zoo offers an alternative to traditional Halloween activities and gives more than 15,000 children each year a safe place to enjoy the holiday! Activities include Goblin Stops full of treats, a “Haunted Train Ride” around the zoo, carnival-style games in the Pumpkin Patch Playroom, a haymaze, face-painting and much more!
