Camp Curiosity - DID YOU EVER WONDER……?


Did you ever wonder why leaves change color in the fall or why a zebra has black and white stripes? Why does a flamingo stand on one leg and what are rocks made of? Explore the answers to these strange questions and many, many more at our week long Spring Break Camp, hosted by Nature Exchange.

Explore the many wonders of nature at this fun filled, action-packed day camp. Each day will include adventures into the Zoo to visit some of our residents, zoo scavenger hunts, visits with zoo staff and volunteers, hands-on activities and experiments, games and crafts and tons of fun!

Who: Anyone who ever wondered why and is ages 6-10
When: March 16 – 20
What time: 9:00 - 4:00
Book early and save!!! Book by March 5 and save on the cost of camp.

Cost: Zoo Friends Members
$150 full week
$35   per day

Non members
$175 full week
$40 per day

The cost after March 5 is $200/week, $40/day for members and $250/week, $50/day for non members.

COME FOR ONE DAY OR STAY THE WHOLE WEEK!

Advance registration is required; spaces fill up fast so call early.  Starting February 1, register by phone at 669-6642, pick up an application in the Zoo Friends office or download and mail or fax an easy registration form.  Spaces are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis.
