Return the Call of the Wild

We began our relationship with the EcoCELL program in 2006, and plan to continue our involvement by expanding our collection efforts to local schools and businesses interested in supporting our conservation goals.  Newer model phones are refurbished and donated to various charities, while older phones are disassembled and recycled.  Each year a conservation initiative is chosen to receive our EcoCELL proceeds.  Recently, funds were used to support the Madagascar Fauna Group (MFG)’s Project Betampona.

For more information Project Betampona visit www.savethelemur.org.

Why recycle via ECO-CELL?
Recycling old cell phones & accessories helps to rid toxic substances (like arsenic and lead found in cell phones & batteries) from our environment. ECO-CELL will properly dispose of the harmful substances in unusable phones & accessories & will refurbish all others for first time users in countries abroad and for battered women’s organizations, senior groups, etc.
