Tulsa Zoo Friends is looking for out-going, enthusiastic candidates to become new Guest Services Ambassadors and work part-time in our Admissions Office. Ambassadors get the opportunity to excel in the following fun-filled areas:
GUEST SERVICES AMBASSADOR
ADMISSIONS (Admission & Mohawk Park Booth)
Ambassadors are placed at both the main Zoo entrance and the Mohawk Park entrance. The main responsibility is to greet and assist guests with daily admission passes. Also daily reconciliation of monies is required.
MEMBERSHIP
Ambassadors interact with guests and market yearly discounts through Tulsa Zoo Friends Memberships to Zoo guests and assist with on-site special membership promotions. Must display excellent customer service while providing adequate answers to visitor inquiries in a positive manner. Monthly incentives are available once monthly goals are achieved!
SPECIAL EXHIBITS
Ambassadors work the entrances to unique exhibits, such as “Wings of Wonder, A Live Butterfly Experience.” Greet guests, take tickets, and provide directions and adequate answers to visitor questions. This job may require being stationed outdoors on our beautifully landscaped grounds.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be energetic, responsible and able to deliver an excellent level of customer service while handling inquiries in person. Must be organized, possess good public speaking skills and the ability to interact with the general public. Money reconciliation and sales experience preferred. A positive personality is a must.
The Zoo is open every day of the week and flexible scheduling is available! Come to work at the wildest place in Tulsa, where monkeys play and elephants trumpet every day!
